Editorial Policy
How we research, write, review, and update every piece of content on this site. Our commitment to accuracy, independence, and genuine usefulness.
Our editorial mission
My Career Crusader exists to give working professionals clear, honest, and actionable guidance on how artificial intelligence is reshaping the labour market — and what to do about it. Every article, guide, and tool we publish is written with one question in mind: does this genuinely help someone protect and advance their career?
We do not publish content to fill space, chase search volume, or promote products. We publish content because we believe it is useful and accurate. If we cannot meet that standard, we do not publish.
Who writes and reviews our content
Our content is produced by career professionals and researchers with direct experience in workforce development, occupational analysis, and the practical application of AI tools in professional settings. Contributors draw on peer-reviewed labour economics research, published AI capability assessments, and first-hand observation of how automation is affecting real workplaces.
All substantive claims — particularly statistics, risk assessments, and predictions — are reviewed against primary sources before publication. Where we cite research, we link to the original study or report. Where we express an opinion or make a projection, we say so clearly.
The AI Exposure Audit tool uses a large language model (GPT-4o via OpenRouter) to analyse user-provided job descriptions. The model's output is a starting point for reflection, not a definitive forecast. We state this clearly on the audit page and in the results.
Our content standards
Accuracy first
We verify statistics and claims against primary sources. When research is contested or evolving, we say so. We do not present speculation as fact.
Practical usefulness
Every piece of content must answer a real question a working professional would have. We cut anything that is vague, generic, or obvious.
Balanced perspective
AI's impact on work is neither uniformly catastrophic nor uniformly positive. We present evidence on both sides and avoid sensationalism in either direction.
Clear sourcing
We link to the research and data we draw on. Where we cannot link to a primary source, we name it. We do not cite secondary summaries as if they were original research.
Transparent limitations
The audit tool uses AI to analyse AI risk — we acknowledge the irony and the limitations. Model outputs are probabilistic, not deterministic, and we make this clear.
No undisclosed conflicts
We do not accept payment to write about specific products, services, or employers. If we ever include affiliate links or sponsored content, it will be clearly labelled.
Corrections and updates
We correct factual errors promptly. When we correct a material error, we note the correction at the bottom of the relevant article with the date it was made. We do not silently delete or rewrite content to hide mistakes.
If you believe something we have published is factually incorrect, please contact us with the specific claim and the evidence you believe contradicts it. We take correction requests seriously and respond to all of them.
Keeping content current
The AI landscape changes rapidly. We review our most-read articles and guides on a rolling basis — typically every three to six months — and update statistics, examples, and recommendations when the underlying evidence has materially changed.
Articles carry a publication date. Where an article has been substantially updated, we show the most recent update date alongside the original publication date. Minor edits (typos, formatting) are not noted separately.
The AI Exposure Audit uses a live language model. Its outputs reflect the model's current training and may change as the underlying model is updated. We do not archive or guarantee the reproducibility of individual audit results.
Our use of AI in content production
We use AI tools to assist with research, drafting, and editing. All content published on this site is reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by a human before publication. AI-assisted drafts are treated as a starting point, not a finished product.
We believe transparency about AI use is important — particularly on a site about AI's impact on work. We do not use AI to fabricate quotes, invent statistics, or produce content that misrepresents its origins.
The AI Exposure Audit is explicitly AI-powered. Users are told this before they submit their information and again in their results. The audit is a tool for reflection, not a definitive occupational forecast.
